(NYO) - In the morning of May 06, 2014, Nam Duong Corporation cooperated with Vietnam Public Health Education Association in holding a press conference to announce the project “Milk for public health”, the beneficiaries of which are pregnant women nationwide.
The press conference was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Deputy President of Women Union of Hanoi, Nguyen Duc Vinh - Master - Deputy Director of Administration of Maternal and Child Healthcare (the Ministry of Health), Ms. Nguyen Thi Chinh - Associate Professor, PhD - Deputy President of Public Health Care Association, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung - Deputy General Director of Nam Duong Corporation, plenty of reporters, and representatives of hospitals.
During the ceremony, doctors from the hospitals that participate in the project asserted that during the development process of a new offspring her womb, the pregnant woman shares her nutrients to the baby. Because of that, a neglected diet will easily lead to nutritious imbalance which affects the health of both the mother and the baby. The mother’s health is remarkably deteriorated after the delivery, which affects the quality of breast-milk. The provision of adequate nutrients to the mother after delivery not only helps the mother quickly recover, but also help creating breast-milk with good and stable quality.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Chinh - Associate Professor, PhD - Deputy President of Public Health Care Association said: “Milk for public health” is a meaningful and humanitarian program meant for pregnant women. Nam Duong Corporation in cooperation with Vietnam Public Health Education Association will visit and give 10,000 boxes of IMPERIAL MOM XO (200gr) and the booklet “First drop of milk" to the pregnant women who are receiving antenatal care and treatment at hospitals nationwide.

“Milk for public Health” project will step by step implement the policy “Educate children aged 0 - 6 from pregnancy, improve the genes”, in order to, together with the whole society, enable young generations, especially children to receive healthcare and support mothers facing financial difficulties by giving them high-quality XO milk from Korea.

At the ceremony, Nguyen Duc Vinh - Master - Deputy Director of Administration of Maternal and Child Healthcare said that the Ministry of Health is really supportive of ”Milk for public health” project because the beneficiaries of this project are not only mothers and children in the center but also ethnic people in poor districts of Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Thai Nguyen, etc. The project begins on May 15, 2014 and ends on June 15, 2014 at major hospitals all over the country.
